10/6/2023. Bottle shared at SBGP3. From New Zealand Beer Collective. 2016 vintage. Pours clear pale golden amber with a small frothy white head. Aroma is funky, yeasty, peachy, citrus, vague cherry. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness, medium sour which increased. Medium body, slightly watery, average to soft carbonation. Dry, sour and salty finish. Enjoyable.

4. 375ml bottle from Left Field Beer. 2016 vintage. Pours hazy peach with no head. Aroma is barnyard, funk, cherry. Taste is heavy sweet, barnyard, cherry, lemon. A stringent finish. Full bodied. Pretty cool but not really my kind of thing.

375ml bottle as part of a delivery from New Zealand Beer Collective. Yellowish pink and cloudy with a ring of white head. Tart mothball notes with loads of fresh cherries. More tartness in the taste, really fresh with berry, champagne vinegar. Medium to long finish with spritzy carbonation. Really simple but all the more effective for it.

Smells of nice sweet lambic funk, soft fruit, and hay. Has a muddy brown-red body with fast disappearing head. Flavour is good lambic style but the sherries are soft and young and could be deeper. Crisp on the mouth. It's good in some ways but the cherry element is simply too far back.

(Bottle) Pours clear roses amber (rather like a rose wine) with tiny white head. Aroma is slight barnyard. Light body with lovely fine carbonation. Taste is nicely tart, with a balance of complex earthy barnyard notes, some yoghurt, cherries. Very nice sour beer.

375 from Liquorland, not shared because the misses wated tea. Slight hazy orange/pink/brownish with short lasting fizzy head. Light funk, dank cellar, sweet cherries, a touch of wood glue, quite herbal, light lactic, dirty farmyard Brett, red currants, mint, lemon. Very sour, light sweet and very light bitter. Medium bodied with soft but sparkly carbonation. It’s not amazing, but it’s pretty damn well done for a ‘lambic’ made on the other side of the globe for from Pajottenland. It was also not crazy expensive actually.

Bottle shared at the Bottle Shop, Bermondsey - London. Cheers to Kenneth for this one! Pours clear, matte pink with a light, white cream head. The aroma holds cherry pits, light wood, lemon. Light sweet flavor, with lightly sugary dried berries, apple skin, wood, must, cherry. Light bodied with average carbonation. Very dry on the finish, with notes of damp wood, dried citrus, cherry peels. Not bad.
