Bottle from Hoptimism, Loughborough. Amber pour with a white head. Aromas of bitter citrus, hops, pine. Flavours of lemon sherbet, grapefruit, pine, lemon zest. Very sharp hop bite in the finish. Very good.

Dan's Stag. Beer Emporium. Bristol. Keg. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, quite a thin sweetness. Tangy citric peel, trace of metallic tang. Little hop spice. Tangy floralness and a trace of red berries. Dry spicy finish. A mixed bag.

Keg at Beer Emporium - Bristol. Pours clear gold with a tight, creamy white head. Piney hops in the snout, lightly toasted pale malts, ripe orange. Medium sweet flavour with ample citrus fruits, pine, grass. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Resinous finish, lightly oozy, more grass and pine, ripening citrus. Not bad. Nice west coast style.

Keg at Beer Emporium. It pours clear golden with a decent white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, doughy, green, pine needles, lemonade, doughy, brioche and some candy. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, oily, resinous, grassy, green, tannin, floury white bread, green, onion, chives, rawness and earth with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. A bit raw, but fun.
