Tap at a cafe in Berlin. Brilliant clear gold with a tall head. Fruity, citrus hop nose, light crisp malt. Sweet, spicy, grainy, spicy hops in the finish. Decent.

500ml bottle, BBE Sep 2019. Drank at home on 4th Aug 2019. Clear golden pour, good white head. Aroma held a little floral note or two with some grainy backbone. Taste on the sweeter side for a Helles, nice in the afternoon sunshine.

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Dry malty aroma. Starts mild, modest dry, shy lemon hints. Light bitter background. Finish well balanced, dry-malty. Okay.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines, Sheffield. Clear, straw gold. Lots of rapidly rising, fine bubbles. Decent, dense, lasting, bright white head. Looks good. Nose has cereal. Straw. Light hop spice. Some peppery notes. Buttery mash. Honest. Taste is mostly cereal sweet, with light, spicy bitterness. Light to medium body. Fine carbonation. Light, lingering bitterness to finish. Easy drinking. Nothing to dislike here.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast, with notes of paper and touches of malt. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish estery notes and malty touches. Paperlike and estery aftertaste with notes of malt. Well-balanced and clean, quite okay for the style but nothing really illuminating.

Bottle, 5.1% Good citric aroma, nicely dusty. Clear golden colour. Fairly stable white head. The flavour is nicely malty and quite papery. Hint of a delicate floral and citric hop in the finish.

€-Flascherl (Greetings to Garching!):Pale golden, stable and lacy white head, sweetish-bitter hayish nose, grainy background; mild - as expected - sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, not overly soft; shorter grainy and mildly bitter finish.Nothing wrong with it, just a bit boring...
