Bottle at home. Pours hazy dark brown with an coffee coloured head. Aroma of capsicum, light roast malt, chocolate, light smoke. Taste is milk chocolate, light roast, some smoke, paprika, moderate chilli. Medium bodied, above average carb, long lingering chilli burn finish. The chilli heat isn't overdone to my taste but it won't suit everyone

Keg at Thirsty, Cambridge, Sunday 7th May 2017 Pours black with a beige head, mostly rim. Warming, really warming, actually this is quite hot, but the base beer is still noticeable throughout offering up a little roastiness, like this. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle at Appellation Wines. Slight gusher. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely drinking chocolate head. Nose - dark chocolate and subtle chilli burn. Taste - chilli getting hotter and hotter. The creamy milk chocolate does co-exist. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry spicy finish. Overall - at least with this chilli beer, it does leave room for other flavours.

Bottle from Stoneworks, Peterborough. Almost black colour with no head. Aroma is roasted malt, smoke and chilli. The head grows with this. Nice for a chilli beer.
