3/12/2022. Bottle shared at the post-Australia Blues beer share. From Brampton Brewery Beer Cellar. Pours clear dark golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, grapefruit, stone fruits, touch of pine. Quite sweet with light bitterness. Moderate body, oily, soft carbonation. Easy drinker.

Bottle. Chatsworth Farm Shop. Courtesy of Totnes. Who doesn’t know the difference between a polo neck and a round neck jumper. Anyway, it’s hazy gold. Film of sticky, white head. Aroma of old pineapple. Fusty orange. Grapefruit. Lots of sweet, chewy, vanilla malts. Smells great. Taste is slightly sweet. Turns oily bitter. Zesty. Soft, full body. Lingering, oily, zesty bitter. Well put together. A bit fusty. Very tasty.

Bottle that dad picked up, shared with him, 07.08.10 Pours gold with a white head, some grapefruit lingering on an otherwise quite sweetish nose. Full flavoured with citrus showing but as pleasant as it is, I’m finding this a little too sweet for me and lacking in a substantial bitter bite. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3
