Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Crisp golden-amber ale with a creamy head. Has a hop-malt balance and is sessionable.

Cask at the Fat Cat, Ipswich. Pours copper brown with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, fruit, malt, light veg. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, touch of sour. Medium body, texture has a light stickiness. Finish is dry, with a bittersweet and caramel edge.

Cask at the Earl of Beaconsfield, Cambridge. Dark go,d with an impressive whitish head, plus quite a lot of lacing. Vinaigrette, forest floor, apricot. Not the best aroma but the taste is improved: simultaneously woody and fruity, mostly sweet with a bitter/sour note in the finish. Ok, a bitter that surprises you that little bit.
