Similar to our Blueberry & Pomegranate Sour, but we’ve doubled up on the goodies to create this Imperial Sour. Brewed with lactose, oats, and HUGE amounts of blueberry and pomegranate, this fruity, tart beer is too good to share.

440ml can. Hazed deep purple appearance as the name suggests, pink-tinged white head. Good vivid blueberry aroma, continuing to taste with some blackberry hints, pomegranate is thankfully low in the mix though it does emerge as the beer adjusts to room temperature. Very good overall.

Can from Appellation Wines, cheers Ash! Colour lives up to its name, deep purple with a thick pink head. Aromas of blueberry, pomegranate and a tart sour note. Taste is tangy and fruity. Light boozy; warming on a winter's night. Tangy finish.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep purple to black with a creamy pink head. Nose - blueberry, flowers (possibly pomegranate) and funky sour. Taste - hugely concentrated blueberry that is cleansed with sour yeast. Palate - tangy and medium bodied. Dry, sour and persistent finish. Overall - very nice.
