Can from HOTM. Pale gold with a light to middling fizz. Nice deep, rich honey up front with floral and caramel overtones - not too sweet and rather satisfying. Unfortunately it's then followed by a less pleasant dusty vegetable note, which I assume is from the prickly pear; I can't remember what prickly pear tasted like the one time I tried it. Maybe some cucumber, then there's an unexpected mild bitterness at the end, which balances out the honey quite nicely. It's a little odd, yet it grew on me and I rather enjoyed it by the end. However I couldn't help feeling that the prickly pear did it no favours at all.

Refrigerated pint can poured into a glass. Clear yellow with small white head. Aroma is pear, medium body, lower carbonation carbonation, and no lacing. Taste is pear and honey.

355ml can from HOTM. Golden colour, white foam head and aroma of honey, prickly pear. Taste is sweet, honey, floral, fruity, prickly pear, sugary. Medium bodied, light carbonation, sweetish finish. Quite drinkable

Tap at Muted Horn. Clear deep golden, low offwhite cream. Sweet perfume nose, honey, flowery pear, a hint tartness, apple notes, medium full sweet apple juice body, light wood, nice fruity balance, perfume retronasal. good to drink.

Draft. A- Sweet, honey. A- Gold color, clear liquid, no head. T- Sweet, honey, orange blossom. P- Light body, thin texture, average carbonation, watery finish. O- Not much for flavor and the carbonation was off. Just not a fan of session meads. Not offensive but nothing I need again.

Can at Superstition DTPHX, pours a clear blonde, no head. Aroma is full of floral notes and light prickly pear. Flavour is fairly light, with gentle peach-like notes, a hint of prickly pear, and light wildflower honey. Fairly good for a session, but not that as good as some of their other sessions. Solid.
