A typical session bitter brewed to be enjoyed as an "all-rounder" with a reasonable roast malt body and a gentle hop bitterness flavour.

On tap at the Countryman Inn, Igoldmells. Amber beer with a white slim head. Aroma of malts and slight hops, flavour has more malts ans stronger hops. All together a decent session beer.

Hand pulled pint in the brewpub on 5th May 2012. Pours a good amber colour with a full foaming cap on top; looked impressive. Malts in the nose and taste: roasted/toasted and caramel semi-sweet throughout. A slightly bitter finish and aftertaste reminded you hops had in fact been used in the brew too.

Bottle that Barry (friend) got for me Dec 2011, big thanks to Barry for this. Consumed at home 5th Feb 2012 Pours mid golden with white head, little tart edging towards a very slight sourness, little chemically also, quite bitter, not really my thing. A4 A4 T5 P3 Ov8 2.3
