Cask at the St. Ives 'Booze on the Ouse' beer festival, 2017. Pours dark gold with a small off-white head. Aroma of blackcurrant, light spice, citrus, orange, yeast and hop. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness with slight sour edge. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Grower.

Gravity cask at the 2016 Cambridge Beer Festival. Gold, clear with an incredibly loose head. Gorgeous scent of saison yeast, ripe apples and ground coriander. Sweet, spicy and yeasty taste so intense that it flares the nostrils. It’s a really flat beer (which loses it a mark) and aren’t saisons supposed to be refreshing workers’ beers (which loses it nothing, just sayin’)? Seek this out.

Cask at Craft Beer Rising 2014 - London. Pours clear yellow with a mellow, white foam head. Decent beer. The character is defined by dry pale dough sweetness, faint yeast, bitter lemon rind. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate drying on the finish, with mellow wheat bread. Tasty, if a bit simplistic.
