Wyjątkowe piwo w stylu kwaśnych flandryjskich Ale z bogatą nutą czerwonych owoców (wiśnia, porzeczka), suszonych śliwek i wyczuwalnymi dębowymi taninami, zarówno w smaku, jak i zapachu.

W tle czuć dębinę i jakby orzech. Nagazowanie średnio niskie. dość lekkie się wydaje, trochę cierpkie na finiszu. Ogólnie ta interpretacja stylu nie przypadła mi do gustu, ale piwo to nie ma właściwie żadnych wad, raczej do degustacji.

Bottle (After the Tears). More brown than red, doesn’t hold a head. Aroma of cherries, wine vinegar, oak. Lightish bodied. Not really funky. Delicate texture with light wood, spices, an almost Kvas-like bready touch. Not as acidic as expected from the aroma with a bright, fruity sourness. Elegant drop.

Bottle from ebrowarium. Dark redbrown colour, beige foam. Nose of red fruit, balsamic vinegar. Taste is tart and refreshing. Grainy. Nice try but something is off in this beer.

0,33l bottle at home. BB 28.11.2018. dark brown color with a reddish hue, small off-white head. smells parfumy, oranges, spices, some chlorophyll, some plums. ok smell. full body, rather bubbly carbonation, full mouthfeel. tastes metallic, berry notes, cherries, some raspberries, acidic, bit citric, light solvent. finishes dry and lightly sour with notes of citrus, metal and some berry notes. ok, but has some off notes, carbonation is a bit agressive, balance is kind of bad.

Bottle contributed by and shared with OSG at his chalet in Sirevåg with OSB 13.08.16. Slightly hazy copper. Slightly acidic aroma and taste, with sour red berries, brett, prunes and wood. Dry.

330 ml. bottle sampled thanks to tderoeck! Dark red cough syrup amber. Nose is sweet oily cough syrup, mild oxidation, plants, mild vinous streak that comes across as being more unintentional than not (despite it being intentional) in its profile. Oily vinous, same strange almost off-profile, with lots of dry leaves, conflicting syrup, lots of odd, leaves, syrupy but also really dries out the mouth in a tannin-like fashion. Very dry, syrupy with mild oxidation. Weird, messy but an interesting go at the style overall. Minor bonus points for trying.
