On tap at Halbite, pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts and some bready notes. Flavour has a reasonably body, with notes of chocolate, leather, toasted nuts, and bready malt. Chocolatey and leathery - this is surprisingly nice.

16 ounce can sent to me by my brother, bought in Bulgaria. Thanks James! Pours a dark brown color with a small white head. A big malty nose. Toffee, nutty, some sweet bready notes. Very smooth, a lot of depth to the flavor.

Bottle from a local supermarket in Sofia, Bulgaria. Shared with lovely Anja and Our K&K Igor! Clear brown. Drank from the bottle. Very roasty with light fruit and caramel aromas. Very dry and roasty. Overwhelming. Medium body, moderate carbonation, dry finish. They cover the faults with their roasted malts!

0.4l bottle as a gift from Roger. Thanks again! A Bulgarian Bock, huh? It has a nice ring to it. On the pour this one has a deep dark Cola brown looking body. From what I can see it's more or less clear and on the top, a big really good looking almost fluffy lacing beige head. The aroma is more or less what you can expect. A little bit of burnt sugar sweetness. Tones of nuts and some cardboard in the back. Some sweeter licorice here also. Not a horrible aroma really. In the mouth it's light oily and it's just below average on the carbonation. Tastes quite good actually. Yeah, more burnt sugar in the taste. It's also quite yeast nutty this. A little roasted as well, lots of dark malts. Yeah, I somewhat like this actually. At least much more than I initially though. 01.10.2016

50cl bottle pours a muddy, nut brown with some ringing, white head. Nose of soggy bread, mild fruit, yeast, a little garbage. Flavor is soggy bread, some over steeped tea, mild raisin, more garbage, a bit flabby. Watery finish. Nope.
