On tap @ Bergen Craft Beer Fest. Pours black, with a small creamy head, mocha head. Aroma is tart fruity notes of raspberries and musty fruit peel, as well coffee and liquorice. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is tart fruity notes, with berries and raspberries, as well dark roasted malts with bread and coffee. Very fruity, and very strange.

On tap. Dark brown color. Aroma: raspberry, raspberry jam, caramel, wine. Taste: caramel and raspberry, jam, light sourness, juicy and quite good.

Draft glass at Warszawski Festiwal Piwa’17 - day 2, split with 77ships. Brune foncée, col crémeux café au lait. Arôme au nez bien marqué par la framboise, Bourbon reste cependant plutôt discret ajoutant juste de fines effluves augurant les 8% Retrouve un fini léger malté biscuité. Palais est bien malté, grillé, chocolaté avec un bel effet de framboise qui balance le tout entre choco et caractère fruits rouge un peu terreux. Le tout garde aussi des notes de malts pâle voire cara. Je note encore des pointes de picotements des framboises et un fini de pâte biscuitée. Le Bourbon demeure discret si ce n’est absent.

Thank you for sharing Sebletitje! Sampled draft @ Warsaw Beer Festival Spring 2017. Black creamy tanned head. Nose is very big on raspberry jam cookie filling, herbal roasted coffee, largely syrupy coffee, small hint of bourbon. Bourbon appears to be nearly abscent in the taste, this largely turns to a wonderful sweet fruit beer, huge raspberry jam cookie filling, slightly thin but that doesn’t mater too much, faint roast, mocha, cacao, sweet chocolate. Bit thing bodied, overal a very nice fruit beer.

Black with little brown head. Aroma is coffee, dark chocolate, earthy leaves. Taste is bitter dark chocolate with slight fruits. Nice and drinkable, no raspberry though.

Sampled @ BKL 2017. Fast schwarze Farbe, mittelgroße bräunliche Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv röstmalzig, Kaffee, Whisky, wenig Torf. Geschmack intensiv röstmalzig, Whisky, Torf, Kaffee, super.

Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is coffee, black chocolate, roasted malt, some peat smoke, not so much raspberry. Taste is black chocolate, coffee, a bit wood, a bit smoke, only a touch of raspberry, quite dry. Silky mouthfeel. Very nice and super balanced - but not so much raspberry.

Bottle sample courtesy of Marek and Michal, thank you gentlemen! Close to black color, brown head. Aroma has blueberries, vanilla, espresso. Taste is smooth, lightly sweet berries and vanilla dipped in dark coffee with dark fruit. The berries nicely complement and balance the whiskey. My favorite of the Geezer variants, along with the base beer itself.
