Pours black, small tanned head. Scent is very full, roasty, mild on the additives (though they're not absent). Vanilla, coffee, milder chocolate. Don't get the pepper here. taste is full, creamy, roasty. Peppers far more noticable here, but not unpleasant. Providing a mild to medium heath, pure chocolate. milder on the coffee here. mild traces of ashyness. Fairly thick ( could be amped up just a bit). Medium to medium low carbo. All and all, very well balanced and enjoyable !

8-4-7-4-15 Bottle, ten months after bottling. Pours pitch black, with a creamy mocha head. Aroma is dark roasted malts with strong coffee, hot notes of chilipepper and dusty spices, as well as dark chocolate, leather, vanilla and wooden notes. Creamy, velvety body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is dark roasted malts with coffee, smoke and hot chili, as well as muscovado sugar, cocoa nibs, leather and wooden notes. Cocoa nibs and lingering hot chili pepper in the finish.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes. The oily pour reveals a low tan-coloured head over a coal black body, faint lacing. Inviting smell of coffee grounds and roasted black chocolate. Well mixed taste profile of espresso coffee and mid-sweet, dark chocolate together with prominent, but not overdone, jalapeno spices that also make up a warming, lingering aftertaste. Full bodied. Solid slow sipper on a Saturday afternoon. (At home, Tromsø 22.08.2020).

Delt med EgilB på Høgda. Svart. Kortlivd mokkafarget skum. Kaffearoma. Smaken krydder & kaffe. Mest pepper. Heftig & uvariert. Det går lenge før smaks-sansen er resatt etter denne.
