500 ml bottle from the BA Big Beer box. Aroma has notes of chocolate, plum, English dark beer. Pours inky black with no head, just a thin collar of beige foam. Taste is highly sweet and roasty with flavors like the aroma; tastes of oxidation. Very rich.

bottle from 2020 - shared with a neighbor. Salted Caramel was very noticable - made for a great palate (thick). Nice beer

Bottle. Pours black with a chocolate brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has dark grains and chocolate up front with a hint of caramel, licorice and roast supporting. Flavor has more salted caramel and a bit of booze with dark grains, roasted malts and chocolate supporting.

Bottle from Holiday Market. Pours a fairly thick deep brown to black with a finger of brown foam that dissipates. Salted caramel aromas with melted chocolate, espresso and dark malt aromas. Fairly thick and viscous on the palate at first, but does thin up a bit on the finish. Loads of salted caramel, light saline umami notes, toasted cacao nib and dark coffee notes on the finish. Booze is hidden fairly well, but slightly warming on the finish. Salted caramel really comes though. Nice and dry stout.

@ KJUBZT tasting June 2019. Black colour with particles. Brownish head, quickly receding. Aroma's of roasted malts, sweetish, chocolate, a bit umami. Retronasal it's fudge, salty, roasted, red fruit. Flavour is above moderate sweet, dark caramel. Full bodied, syruppy mouthfeel. Long finish, a bit salty and caramel. Very nice!
