Banana Stout Grand Prix 15,1°: stout mleczny macerowany z pieczonymi bananami - uwarzony ściśle według mistrzowskiej receptury Joanny Mitek i Macieja Palusińskiego - zwycięzców Warszawski Konkurs Piw Domowych - edycja 2017. Do przygotowania piwa zużyliśmy półtorej tony bananów z Hondurasu :-), które przed dodaniem do tanku starannie upiekliśmy, aby lepiej oddały swój smak i słodycz. W efekcie kawowy i czekoladowy profil stoutu idealnie łączy się z owocowym smakiem banana i słodko-kremowym finiszem.

Sampled at Warsaw Beer Festival, spring 2018. Murky brown body. Aroma is dark malt and ripe banana. Flavor is sweet malt, lactose and banana. Sure it’s weird and a bit of novelty, but I actually think this worked out quite well. It tastes like banana and stout in a not offending way, could not have much of this but sure interesting and drinkable for a sample.

Pours dark murky brown with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, lactose and hint of sourness. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with a long roasted, coffee and light sour finish. Body is light, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

500ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Banana, coconut, vanilla and coffee in the aroma. Slightly tart taste with notes of vanilla, coffee and banana. I am not sure if this is slightly infected or if it is just a recipe that doesn't quite work.

W aromacie tania czekolada, kakao, nieco wanilii, banana, kawa, paloność. W smaku banan już tylko jako posmak w tle. Co uderza - piwo jest kwaśne. Czy podkwaśniało, czy to od palonych słodów nie wiem. Nieco czekolady, kakao. Wysycenie odpowiednie, goryczka niska. Takie słodko-kwaśne. Raczej słabe

On tap at Craftownia, pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. Nose brings out lactose, with lots of banana and cocoa. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of lactose upfront, with subdued banana. Almost tastes like a banana chocolate smoothie. Not something I want to taste in beer, but it's not too terrible.

Bottle. Black colour, minimal head. Aroma is intensive roasted malt, dark chocolate, some roasted banana. Light bitterness, lightly sour. Watery. Decent.
