33cl fles van Drinks&Gifts. Zwart, geen kraag. Aroma is flink geoxideerd, sherry, rozijntjes, soyasaus, geroosterde mout, licht metalig. Smaak volgt, wat gebrande caramel en hint van koffie, sherry, wat whisky, bitterzoete finish. Volle body, vrijwel geen koolzuur. De minste uit de serie wat mij betreft.

Bottle. Color: Black, thin beige head. Aroma: Roasted malt, pretty sweet, booze, light citrus hints. Taste: Dark roasted malt with notes of cocoa, licorice hints, subtle mocha and coffee notes. Bit boozy and peaty, smoke, lightly vanilla Whiskey notes and some sweetish PX Sherry also coming through. Moderate to medium sweetness and bitterness. Full body, soft carbonation. Smooth and dense, oily mouthfeel. Long lasting bitter and roasted finish. Very good balanced barrel ageing. Great beer.

Pitch black colour. Mocha coloured head, but not much. Aroma's of roasted malts, light peat, umami, wood. Retronasal also there's a lot of roast, wood, umami, light booze. Flavour is roasty bitterish, woody, very dark chocolate - just very light sweetness. Very low carbonation. Warming alcohol, but not too sharp. Above medium bodied. Long finish with lots of roast and dark chocolate, moderate bitter. Well done.
