Bierfestival Brugge 2019. Sampled draft. Gulden Spoor Ladybuck Cherry. Seriously that name. Dark brown red little off-pink head. Nose is sweet chemical, garbage, spoiled cherry. Fizzy chemical, medicinal wet dog cherry, rubbish. Total crap

2 February 2019. At Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to tderoeck, 77ships, Jerre, Kevin & Anke! Hazy red with a lasting, small, foamy, pinkish head; little lacing. Aroma of red candy, sweet cherry, strawberry, sugary fruit jam, industrial red yoghurt. Taste is heavy sugary sweet, mixing red candy with overripe sweet cherry, toned down a little by a light fruity sourness, some strawberry, red jam but remaining artificial, and a lactic touch of yoghurt. Sweet finish, lingering sugary jam & red candy, only slightly wheaty and very vaguely grainy bitter. Medium body, slick/fluffy texture, fizzy carbonation. Who could care about another overly sweet Belgian cherry beer?

Clear dark red to red brown beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: cherry flavoured candy (poepkes), alcohol, more of that artificial cherry flavourings. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: all cherry flavoured candy, syrupy, way too sweet, little metallic. Aftertaste: more sugar, cherry flavoured candy, a bit dirty, much too sweet and all artificial flavourings. Don't like…
