Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: black in the pour and black in the glass with a two finger tan foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, light coconut, some pineapple; treacle and some coffee roastiness
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to subtle roasty quality; finishes with some milk chocolate, coconut and pineapple
Texture: medium bodied; good sipper; some smoothness to this but also some coffee grinding it's way into the tongue (though, very light)
Overall: a very nicely done pastry impy stout I would welcome again.

(Can) Black colour with frothy, pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with black coffee, dark chocolate, pineapple, toasted coconut, black bread and liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, pineapple, citrus, toasted coconut and a warming finish with a balanced roasty bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Rich and full, with balanced notes of pineapple and coconut mingling well with all the imperial stout character. Works better than it sounds. Great beer.

Evil Twin x Westbrook OFYMD 12% Imperial Stout with Pineapple and Coconut Deep motor oil black pour with a very dark rusty tan head. The aroma has a tannic woodsy slightly Smokey edge that really has me thinking barrel aged. It’s also got roasty nutty umami elements in the aroma as well. Very full bodied with an interesting acidity and sweetness from the pineapple with loads of cacao, soy, nuts, but I don’t detect any coconut. A touch of boozy heat if present which isn’t surprising at 12%!!!

Can from Deconinck. Cloudy black, thin, dark beige head. Aroma of pineapple slice, dried banana, coconut cream, milk chocolate, prune, date jam, toffee, syrup, tropical liqueur. Taste has very sweet date, fig, dried banana & pineapple, dash of vanilla along a chocolatey & toffee-malty body, hinting at coconut & lactose too. Bit toasty bitter, before ending dryish, earthy hoppy with chocolate-coated dried fruits, coconut & warming rum-like alcohol. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Very enjoyable, with the fruity flavours shining through nicely.
