(473ml can from boxbeers.dk) Pours pitch black with a smallish rapidly fading medium brown head. Notes of baker's chocolate, dark caramel, toasted coconut, sweet dried pineapple and other fruits, some ashy roast. Flavour is sweet but with a little tart fruity edge. Dark caramel and a little fudge mix with some bittersweet chocolate, rather ample pineapple, some toasted coconut, lightly toasty grain, maybe a hint of coffee? Finish is drier, low bitterness, lingering chocolate and coconut with a fruity tart pineapple twang, along with a cinnamon-like spice. Medium-full, oily, with soft carbonation. Definitely unusual and odd, but not really in a bad way - the sweet-tart pineapple doesn't stop this from being pastry but it's pretty drinkable.

100 ml from tap sampled @ Beergeek Bar, Prague. Murky black, mocha head. A lot of Coconut, burnt malt, rum, ripe banana, barrel aged brandy, caramel, burnt sugar, dry citrus notes, some booze. Dry bitterness, malty sweetness. Full bodied, slick oily texture, dry sweetish finish, soft carbonated. Very nice!

Can picked up at Himmeriget, shared in Hammel with the in-laws - black pour with a tan head. Dark roasted and sweet malty with opulent chocolate, some fruity pineapple accents in play, oily palate, light balanced laying of coconut throughout, charred malty notes, hoppy backing, full bodied, resonating warming dark malty coconut edged finish. Comes together well. Lovely.

Can. Split between a snifter and a bowl of beer bread mix, snifter consumed while beer bread was baking. Black color small dark brown head. Aroma of coconut and subtle pineapple and a roasty background. Taste has coconut up front, dark roast coffee, light pineapple. Not overly sweet. Bread was boozy and very rich.

16 ounce can into snifter, canned on 8/20/2018. Pours dense pitch black color with a 1 finger fairly dense and rocky dark tan head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, molasses, toffee, brown sugar, pineapple, coconut, toasted biscuit, nuts, and dark/brown bread; with light notes of licorice, raisin, prune, fig, date, smoke, char, leather, tobacco, and roast/toasted earthiness. Very slight booze in the aromas as it warms. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malts, pineapple, coconut, and light earthy hop notes; with big strength. Taste of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, molasses, toffee, brown sugar, pineapple, coconut, toasted biscuit, nuts, and dark/brown bread; with light notes of licorice, raisin, prune, fig, date, smoke, char, leather, tobacco, and roast/toasted earthiness. Very mild herbal, roast, char bitterness; and fruit tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, molasses, toffee, brown sugar, pineapple, coconut, toasted biscuit, nuts, dark/brown bread, light dark fruit/smoke/char, leather, tobacco, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, pineapple, coconut, and light earthy hop flavors; with a solid roast/hop bitter/sweet balance; and no cloying/acrid flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/char bitterness. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/velvety, and slightly slick/sticky/chalky/tangy mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 12.8%. Overall this is an incredible fruited imperial stout! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, pineapple, coconut, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the huge ABV, with the minimally bitter/drying finish. Amazingly rich dessert stout malt complexity; with nice coconut/pineapple presence, without being overdone. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable, and amazing style example as expected. Still feels like a typical imperial stout from both breweries.

09/05/18, it's a sweet fruity stout! The nose comes off a bit boozy sometimes but that's the pineapple I guess. It's balanced and tasty if not a bit weird sometimes, but weird is good here.
