Beneath the bright lights and wealth of the Metropolis dwells a very different world. This dark beer takes everything pure in Metropolis and corrupts it. A giant malt bill renders a thick and viscous fluid into which hops by the bargeful were laid to rest. The result is a colossal experience where an impressive mouthfeel meets bittered chocolate and a raging tropical hop explosion. The Necropolis demands your respect.

Cask (Belgium & Blues, Southampton) - Black with a slight haze. Liquorice, pine and fudge in the aroma. Hoppy and slightly soapy taste with liquorice, coffee, pine and a fairly bitter finish.

On tap at Vibrant Forest, Lymington, Hampshire, Saturday 11th March 2017 Pours black with a murkiness and a tan head. Strident bitterness but not in the least bit harsh, fruity with a dab of grapefruit. Full mouthfeel, juicy, really juicy, lovely hoppy beer. Excellent, but you can start too feel the warmth. .
