12092019 Aromat słodki, ale mało intensywny, karmelowy słodowy, toffi Piana biała, kolor jasny bursztynowy, niezbyt klarowny. Smak zbalansowany nie za słodki nie za gorzki trochę orzechowo alkoholowy karmel Nagazowanie niskie, ciało ciężkie, aksamitne słodkie, finisz trochę alkoholowy, alkohol mało wyczuwalny. Ogólnie nic szczególnego czuć beczkę, bardzie wytrawne niż deserowe.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie June 21. Thanks Mark for this surprise final beer of the night, pulled out from his bag as we were about to leave. Hazed, almost murky, amber, medium sized off-white head. Aroma brings subdued malt, caramel, distant sherry hints. Settled, balanced wheat wine character, softly sweet, some vanilla, hiding its strength well with very subtle pedro ximenez influence coming through. Nicely drinkable but seems a little lacklustre given its presentation in a box.

Fles gekregen van Roelzie1986. Het is een helder rood bier met een dun wit schuim. Het heeft een wijn achtige en houtige geur. De smaak is houtig, wijnig en alcohol achtig met een kruidige afdronk.

Hazy and slightly murky gold beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, decent fine carbonation. Soft malts, a good creamy sweetness. The PX is obvious but like the Marsala version, there could be more of it. PX ripe fruit richness, slightly savoury pruney caramel. Light finish. Good. A little more presence than the Marsala. Again more barrelling would have made this better.

Light orange colour, cloudy, almost no head. Aroma is honey, herbs (basil?), apricot, some white grapes. Alcohol well hidden. Light bitterness, not sweet. Medium body. Good.

ABV: 11.0%. Unclear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, cherry - marzipan, cake, cognac - alcohol. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average duration, cake, cherry - marzipan, sweet malt, barrel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20191101]
