Cloudy black, very thin, beige head. Aroma of vanilla bean, bourbon, chocolate sauce, fudge, date paste, crème brûlée. Taste has sweet date & plum, quite chocolatey, hint of fudge, bit spicy, softened by creamy vanilla. Peppery hoppy finish, notes of fondant, coffee cream, fudge & vanilla, expected warming bourbon alcohol but something of coffee liqueur too. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Vanilla really works well here so, successful.

Thnx to Ben. Pours black. Scent is full, medium intense vanilla, roasty. Taste is full, roasty, chocolate. Full on vanilla. Barrel shines trough very nicely. Intense, both in aroma's and body - yet very balanced. Amazing beer, and the last one of the tasting (Belgian Beergeek Gathering summer 2021) for me - we closed off with the winner of the day for sure.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lovely stuff, alcohol, vanilla, more alcohol, lots of banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice roast, lots of chocolate, some vanilla, lots of caramel, alcohol, sugary, little bitter. Aftertaste: sugary, alcohol, soft roast, lots of dark chocolate, very nice, bitter, coffee, dark chocolate, more vanilla, good stuff!
