Eine Hommage an Jaques Perritaz, dem Vater des Schweizer Cidres. Der Bohnapfel gibt dem Cidre die Struktur, die Pastorenbirne die Säure und den Schmelz, und die Quitte das florale Bukett.

Bottle at Daves, Unterhanching, München. This bottle courtesy of Stefan, cheers Stefan. Shared with the Ratebeer München Tasting group, Wednesday 7th August 2019. As Loz mentions the quince really zaps the nose, the pour is a cloudy yellow. A little nail varnish, soft , the pears really take over, pear drops, apple is secondary. Fine

Bottle, many thanks anstei! Almost murky yellow color with white head. Aroma is super intense lovely quince, super luscious, a touch of nice pears as well. Taste is milky, quince, vanilla pears, lots of vanilla, some butter as well. Foamy-fizzy carbonaton. Amazing aroma, as expected, but the flavour is a bit of a letdown.

Light yellow hazy, big head that disappears quite comically fast like a stop motion cartoon. Aroma is (as I'm told) 100% quince, the first inhalation nearly burned my nose with its strong pungency. Amazing complexity and power. Flavor is a mixture of pear and other mixed fruits / a bit buttery, not so complex, a bit simple compared to the aroma.
