Clear orange, light amber and bronze coloured body with a very thin off-white head that fades very quickly and only tops off at one centimetre tall maximum. Aroma of citrus, pine, grass, resin and a dose of alcohol, with some deeper malts noticeable in the nose as well. Medium-bodied; Rich resinous and pineapple flavours dominate the taste with a syrupy and sticky quality at first, then filling up with the malt, adding some dry and more pungent medicinal and astringent flavours, all ending with a bit more tropical notes that show sugars, all with the hop bitterness on the end. Aftertaste is relatively deep, with some of the medicinal notes still playing out, with hop bitterness and alcohol around, along with noticeable fruit-based sweetness. Overall, a fairly nice Imperial-ish IPA that is almost missing a lot of complexity and deep profiles, but is relatively easy-drinking (at least for the ABV) while still being dank and hoppy. Nice to try super fresh, but not worth grabbing, with so many other options around! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 22-May-2020 for US$2,69 sampled at my house here in Washington on the same day, on 22-May-2020.

Can. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a thin head and aromas of oranges, grain, and a little grassy hops. First sip reveals a kind of chewy IPA with some resin and oranges. Not a particularly clean flavor but decent enough. Has a bit of grainy and dusty edge to the malt that feels a bit sloppy.

Tap at brewery. Pours golden. Aroma is citrus, perhaps pineapple, grasses. Flavor is bittersweet vanilla-caramel-grapefruit. Finishes with light orange notes and a little bit of earth. Bitter but not overwhelming. Solid.
