Bottle. As Mexican Hot Chocolate Imperial Stout Funky Garden 6 pitch dark, dark brown head. looks mean, looks great Aroma of chocolate cake, of coconut, toffee, coffee with milk. Flavor is hot chilies, chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, the chilies are quite hot and adds an almost fruity note to the beer, the flavor seems a lot more balanced (away from chocolate coconut sweetness) towards a more imperial stoutish roasted malty flavor, with chocolate and coconut only adding color to the taste, not carrying it. Chilies are hot, but not too hot.

Intensiv malziger Beginn. Kakao, viel Vanille, etwas Zimt. Cremig, weiter Kakao, geringe Herbe, die erwartete Schärfe bleibt aus und ist allenfalls im Nachgeschmack erahnbar. Süffig, cremig, vollmundig. Langer malziger Abgang, Zimt, wenig Kaffee. Lecker! 8/12/11/12/10/11

Ciemna barwa, piana niezbyt intensywna, opada bez śladu. W aromacie wyczuwalne nuty kawy, gorzkiej czekolady oraz cynamonu. W smaku bardzo podobnie ale na pierwszy plan wybija się cynamon. Chili wyczuwalne dopiero jako aftertaste. Goryczka na niskim poziomie, nasycenie również, alkohol niewyczuwalny.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is earthy, chocolate, cocoa powder, vanilla, taste is sweet toffee, fruity, spices, chocolate, caramel, hint of chilli.

500ml bottle Sophie's Beer Store. Big big aroma, proper decadent rich chocolate cake, very well executed chilli hit, big velvety chocolate dominating alongside smooth vanilla and faint cinnamon. Ace.

Pours jet black, high viscosity. No head unless taken great effort into getting one, which results in a small formation on the edge of the glass. Scent is peppers and cinnamon, in equal mounts. Mild intensity on the roasty base. Taste is full, fairly thick but less so than expected. A sharp edge, almost 'minthy' (of course no real minthy flavor, but the same sharp taste). I don't think it's actually metallic, but at least it goes somewhat that direction. Cocoa isn't too strong. Pepper is failry mild. Cinnamon is recognizable.
All and all not bad, but not overly intense for the abv ( still intense, just not compared to others ). The sharp aroma is definately a negative to me, and takes the lead in the aroma, which is obviously unexpected.

50cl bottle. A very dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of intense sweet strong dark malt, chocolate, coffee, some herbs. Taste of dark roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, peppery finish.

Bottle, 11.6%. Fruit, wax, dried spice aroma, fabric softener. Jet black colour. Very small dark brown head. The flavour is sweet and spicy. Distinct cookie flavour. Not too sweet, but very spicy. Still short of well-balanced.
