The flagship of Fehér Nyúl. Its story originated in our founders’ kitchen. As homebrewers often do, they were looking for the ”standard IPA” recipe that is lurking inside everyone’s head who has ever tried brewing this style. When the mission was accomplished, our IPA got drafted into the Hungarian national homebrewing championship. Out of more than 70 beers, it came top, giving a crucial push towards the start of Fehér Nyúl. Its recipe has changed a tiny bit since, to reflect current changes in the IPA market, but it’s still a classic American IPA.

330ml can from Budapest airport duty free. Pours amber with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of orange peel, grapefruit & hops. Medium body. Light bitter finish.

Tropiki, żółte owoce, żywiczne, trochę miodu i karmelu, ziołowe. Barwa złota, mętne, piana redukuje się do niskiej, brak lacingu. Goryczka zaznaczona, ziołowa. Wytrawne, z wadami, przeciętne.

On tap @ the brewery taproom. Surprisingly similar to the IPA in every aspect, from appearance to taste. Light bodied with average carbo. Average IPA.

From tap at Macska, Budapest, 14.02.25. Clear pale straw colour. White head and lacing. Decent aroma snd taste of citrusy American hops and pilsner malt. Solid bitterness in aftertaste.

33cl can from City SPAR in Budapest, Hungary. Head is big, white, good retention. Colour is deep gold to amber, light hazy. Aroma is orange, tropical fruits, pine. Taste is medium to full malty base, orange, mellow tropical fruits, grapes, nice balanced harmonic bitterness, medium carbonation, ok enjoyed.

Bottle on the Frontier Brush day ii, from the Craaaaft Bar, 09/06/24. Golden pour with an off white cap that retains well. Nose is old skool leaning, orange shreds, perfume, mandarin. Taste comprises caramel, melon, light floral notes, orange zest. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with mellow light juice laden hop bitterness. Passable.
