QUADRUPEL – CLASSIC WITH A TWIST - 26,0°Blg, 11,0% alk., – QUADRUPEL with FIGS, RAISINS, DATES, VANILLA AND ORANGE ZEST. Classic with a Twist to nowa seria z naszymi przyjaciółmi z Funky Fluid z którymi uwarzyliśmy jak również zdegustowaliśmy już morze piwa. Tym razem sięgamy po klasyki, którym mamy ambicję nadać drugą młodość. Nic nie musi być nudne czy oczywiste! Pierwsze piwa to historycznie patrząc klasyka belgijskiego piwowarstwa. W naszej interpretacji dodaliśmy daktyle, figi, rodzynki, zest z pomarańczy oraz wanilii.

Can shared with Gabor Gábor at MONYO. Nose is malty, estery and all the dried fruit additions with a touch of vanilla. Taste is sweet booze, estery notes, dried fruits and vanilla. Subtle alcohol burn, but not much. Closes with a sweetish body, hasa light to medium, surprisingly creamy body and light carbonation, also not what I'm used to when it comes to quads. Still pretty tasty.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). More or less black colour with a minor head. Aroma is toffee, chocolate, some syrupy tones with mild spices. Flavour is spices, some floral, fruity and mild dried fruits along with vanilla, fudge and some syrupy tones. Hides the ABV rather well.

[ As Nepomucen / Funky Fluid Classic With A Twist #1: Quadrupel ].
ABV: 11.0%. Dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, toffee, moderate to heavy yeasty, candy, fruity yeast - sweet yeast. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, candy, toffee, caramel, sweet yeast - fruity yeast, belgian yeast, dried fruit - figs - raisin. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20220108]

Frothy white good mostly diminishing head. Dark red amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Molasse notes. Light bitter very sweet flavor. Vanilla present. Long light bitter vanilla/molasse finish. Creamy palate.

Can from Hop Shop, Aberdeen. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Nose is chocolate raisin, prunes,profiteroles, liquorice toffee, dates, butterscotch. Taste is milk chocolate, nuts,raisins, walnuts, dates, profiteroles, sweet spice, sweet tobacco. Soothing alcohol caress. Rich warming finish. Very flavoursome.

500ml can. Pours very dark brown with a medium head. Aroma is cocoa, cola, figs and orange. Taste has chocolate, cola, orange and alcohol to start. Vanilla coke finish. Low carbonation.
