RBESG 2019, Grand Tasting. Murky amber, small off-white head. Nice smoked malts, caramel & smoke, sharp alcohol. Lovely smoke profile, smoked meat. Very smooth but slightly too boozy.

Bottled 500ml. - Grand Tasting RBESG 2109, day 4. Muddy golden/amber coloured, small brownish head, light smoke and alcohol in the nose. Sweet malty, light smoke and caramel, notes of dried fruits and sweet alcoholic finish. Not bad at all.

RBESG 19 Grand Tasting. Dark amber, some beige head. Smoked leathery aroma, heavily malty, light alcohol. Smokey, fruity, sweetish malty, complex taste, with the flavors vying for dominance. Really respectable and daring, even if imperfect. Still, props!

Bottle. Unclear deep amber color with beige head. Aroma is smoked, ham, musty, caramel, raisins. Taste is smoked, ham, raisins, caramel, so smooth. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Very nice, very balanced, great smoked character!

Bottle shared at RBESG ‘19 Grand Tasting at Raven. Hazy brown with a tan head. Aroma of big smoked malts, smokey bacon, caramel and toffee. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Deep dark and subtle red color with a fine tan head. Toffee, raisins, plums, dried fruits and some spices. Full body and a soft carbonation. Nice balanced sweetness. Powerful and complex flavor. Toffee, dried fruits, raisins, plums, some coffee and hell yeah lovely ale!
