Can picked up from Bierkiste Munich (I think). Had this at home Sunday 4th December 2022 after an 8+km woodland walk, now listening to Jon Spencer & The Hitmakers - Spencer Gets It, we had Pork Fillet Wellington with Carrots, Roast Potatoes, some Anchovy Butter Sprouts and Christmas Gravy. Pours hazy dirty browny/yellow with a white head. Aroma suggests sweetness to come, malt and tropical fruit. Sweet and a little tropical tartness, some passion fruit, a little bitterness, juicy but not overly so. It seems to be a NEIPA (DIPA) but the bitterness whilst subtle gnaws away and seems more so than the suggested rating of 1 out of 6 on the back. Not amazing but also not bad at all.

Tap at BGB. Murky ochre body, off-white head. Full aroma, heavy stone fruit and coconut, lightly lightly herbal. Lean soft taste, apricot, light coconut, vaguely citric, bit empty finish, full but not quite juicy. In some ways nice, but... Not quite there.

440ml can. Murky, yellow-ish, golden colour with small, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Tropical fruity, slightly citrusy, hoppy aroma with herbal-leafy-grassy overtones, oaty malty background, rather unspecific fruitiness, a tropical potpourri, somehow perfumed citrusy flavours. Taste is citrusy and tropical fruity hoppy, notes of lemon and orange, mango purée, sweet-ish, oaty and wheaty malty basis; lingering, intensely citrusy finish with notes of lemon balm, lemon drops, lemongrass. Creamy, almost mushy texture, smooth and super-soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, creamy carbonation. Slightly abrupt transitions in the development of taste; excellent finish, excellent mouthfeel - very nice!

Süßer, stark hefiger Hopfenantrunk. Geringe Herbe, deutlich alkoholisch, was durch den starken Hafergeschmack nur wenig kaschiert wird. Kokosnuss, weich, wenig Mango. Langer alkoholisch hopfiger Nachgeschmack. Weniger könnte hier mehr sein. 12/9/8/9/12/9
