From the deep, dark recesses of the beer shelves—expired two years ago. Black with a thin, frothy head. Aroma is coffee and lots and lots of licorice. Moderate milky sweet. Finishes with a touch of espresso bitterness over the lactose. Medium bodied, texture is not watery but not far away, perhaps the carbonation simply bled out. Lingering licorice. Decent dessert beer.

Leicht brennend alkoholischer, stark kaffeeartiger Malzbeginn. Spritzig, kaum süß, weich. Vollmundiger Mittelteil, weiterhin viel Kaffee, weich. Der Alkohol ist nun nicht mehr erkennbar, mittellanger Abgang. etwas trocken, rund. Gut! 11/12/11/12/11/12

0.44 l can from the brewery's web shop, best before July 2022. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of dark chocolate, quite some coffee and a touch of nuts. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty taste of lots of coffee, dark chocolate, toasted nuts and some licorice, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, quite earthy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Rich and intense, really heavy on the coffee, very tasty if you like that.
