Corked bottle at Weathered 2022, Vancouver (season 1920) Blend No. 47
Clean red colour bright. Elegant aroma of grapes and barnyard. Sour but mellow with great grape tones, and sharp Lambic character. Excellent.

750 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy garnet. I lie with moderate head. Aromas of sweet red grape must and wheat. Flavors of green blackberries and red grape skins plus soft wheaty malts. Fruity over sour. Nice

Bottle pour at Gold Star Beer Counter: pours reddish with small white head. Nose of light grapes, oak, mellow funk... not overwhelming. Taste is lightly sour, somewhat funky, with nice mellow grape notes. Pleasant body and mouthfeel.

750ml @ Sales Force. Appearance: nice hazy purple with a white head. Aroma: not very funky, kind of malty, some light grapes. Taste: along the same lines, more funk here, some minerals. Overall: ok.

Poured from 750mL bottle (no 47 - 19/20 - bb 26/10/2040). Medium dark red with small white head. Oak, vinous, funk. Decent.

Deep red with a decent white head. Petroleum notes and red fruit. Light red fruit and not really much else. None of the greatness that is 3F, a bit of a let down. Simple red fruit and just a touch of funk.

750mL bottle, pours an opaque dark cherry red / mahogany with a small white head. Aroma is quite vinous, with some nice grape must, gentle barnyard funk, light floral notes, and a touch of oak. Flavour is much the same, with lots of grape must, red grape, moderate barnyard funk, gentle acidity, and some oak. Really nice incorporation of the grape. Not as complex as some of 3F's other fruited lambics, but it's pretty solid.

Fantastic sour mild beginning. Easy to drink, fruity mild with a moderate fruitiness. Red grapes are there, fruity with a nice mild sourness. Dry, horse blanket, lots of fruit with a mild fruity finish. Great.
