For this Druivenlambik, we used Muscat Bleu grapes from Wijndomein Hoenshof in Hoepertingen, Haspengouw region, Flanders. Muscat Bleu is a hybrid wine and table grape and has its origins in Switzerland. We macerated the grape must with two different lambikken from the same barrel. We let it macerate for over five months on a small oak barrel and bottled it straight from the barrel. The final fruit intensity is 42.9% of grape must per litre of Druivenlambik Muscat Bleu. This Druivenlambik is one of three small batch macerations with must from the same grape on the same type and size of barrel but with different maceration ratios.

Mild light carb, lots of muscat grape funk. Delicious acidity level, damn drinkable.

Fruity beginning. Lots of grapes with an intense sourness. A bit rough, horse blanket, smooth mild finish with a great depth of red grapes.

0,75l bottle at home shared with Saeglopur. redish hazy color, small white head. smells funky, tannins, grapes and berry notes, some sulphur, very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes peppery, spices, grape notes, tannins, flowery, like elder flowers, berry notes, funky, some oak, bit citric, rather funky. finishes dry and light to medium sour with notes of tannins, spices and some bery notes. very nice one, was not so impressed with the 3F grape varieties, but this one is great, lots of funk, love the flowery / elder flower like notes. great one.

Sampled in a set of Druivenlambiek Muscat Bleu (°54 , °55, °56 ) and Druif Muscat Bleu (°47) .
This one contains 42.9% Grapes.
Pours a clear, dark reddish amber. Scent is very raw, funky, intense, tad sweaty, wood. All the same as both lesser-grape focussed blends, but somehow this is the least expressive of the set. Taste is full, dry, very astrigent. Medium light tannins, fairly intense grapes. Medium light carbo. Quickly fading finish, yet remains very dry and astrigent. A tad to much so for me.
