For this specific Oude Kriek, we macerated sour cherries for seven months on stainless steel. The lambikken that were used originate from five different barrels and give different brews. The final fruit intensity is 334 grams of sour cherries per liter of oak. 100% 3 Fonteinen.

Pours unclear red. No real head. Scent is full, cherry, swiming pool. Funk, loud lambic, oaky. Taste is full, awesome fruitbalance. very dry, intense tartness. lovely balance in this batch - might be my favorite so far !

0,75l bottle at home. BB 26.10.2040. redish hazy color, small white head. smells funk, cherry notes, marzipan, light baby diaper, almost leathery, light blue cheese. very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes funky, dry, nice cherry aroma, marzipan, stone fruits, grassy, citric, some oak. finishes dry and medium sour with notes of cherries, stone fruits and some oak notes. nice stuff, very good to drink, already pretty good complexity.
