Draft, flight pour at DUBCO-Acres, 10/8/23. Dark brown-black, medium brown head. Sweet chocolate, vanilla, mild roast. Much sweeter than I expected. Pretty good. 7/4/7/4/16

16 oz. shared by tfontana. Thanks T. Aroma of honey, vanilla extract, roast. Flavor is sweet without doubt. Honey is bold throughout with bold vanilla. Dare I say, “too sweet”.

Can pour from Valley Beverage, Sherman Oaks. It's an opaque black with thin cap of beige head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong sweet malts, cherry, honey, vanilla. Taste is strong cherry, roasted malts, vanilla, honey and mild cacao. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, cherry aroma/taste is a bit unexpected--due to the honey? Decent.

Undated can drunk 7/2/22, thanks Tfontana. Dark. Large, dark beige head of moderate retention. Honey, vanilla, sweet herbs and fruity date with no alcohol or flaw. Honeycomb, cacao, cocoa, light fudge. Honey, big fruity esters. Caramel, vanilla and just so much God damned honey. Like it was canned with raw honey. Date and plum I guess. Fairly watery. Not sure I'd call this an IS; more like a brown ale or porter.

Can on the train to Inverness, thanks to Dave, 09/10/21. Light black with a tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is dark malts, chocolate, figs, rocky roads, molasses, brown sugars, hint of coffee. Taste comprises chocolate, honeycomb, sweet malts, candied sugars, peach. Medium bodied plus, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Not bad if a touch on the sweet / perfumed side.

Can from Chris or Matt: pours black with big beige head. Aroma is honey, loads of chocolate, and hints of vanilla. Taste is sweet, light bitterness and tang, loads of milk chocolate. A little burny if you chug.

Large foamy light brown head left a spotty cover & collar on a still black body. Vanilla, malt & coffee aroma. Medium to full bodied, smooth & cloying. Vanilla, ice cream, malt, brown sugar & coffee tastes with a sweet spiced finish. Super Sipper
