33cl can, BB 30/11/2021, lot#P213.
Brune foncée, col fin crémeux blanc-cassé.
Arôme renvoie sur des effluves de malt grillé, caramel, café - cookie amaretti. Petite touche fruitée noire en rétro. Effet café perce encore en rétro.

Palais est plaisant, je pensais être pris par le lactose, ici ce dernier se mêle fort bien avec des notes de café et une petite touche d'amande en retrait venant sûrement de l'Amaretto. Petite amertume de fin de bouche, et sécheresse qui perdure - retrouve avec un peu plus d'ouverture à t° ambiante le côté amande Amaretto. Niveau malté, cela oscille presque sur une approche un peu anglaise - en fin de bouche, je note une pointe verte houblonné en amertume.

Point positif pour avoir éviter de tomber dans la marée de lactose à la Omnipollo - ici, tout reste contrôlé - sûrement par la volonté de Valério.

Canned, 330 ml courtesy of Kris. Shared with Miro and Miro B at Charleroi Airport. Chocolate, coffee, cocoa, some cookies, vanilla. Medium+ sweetness. Very smooth. Medium bodied. Very nice.

Clear deep red brown beer, big irregular fizzy crackling cola-like head, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: very malty, cow fodder, grains, good roast, some chocolate, bit of a smoky touch, ashes, coffee and caramel notes. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: oooh, nice! Sweet start with lots of caramel, dark chocolate, a gentle roast, slightly acidic touch providing a very good balance against the sweetness and the roast. Aftertaste: nice roast, pretty bitter, malty, caramel, chocolate, grains, some coffee, dry finish, lovely beer!
