Imperial Stout + Chocolate + Raspberries
An imperial stout brewed with raspberries and Valrhona cocoa nibs. Rich flavours of chocolate and fruit collide with boozy heat.
Building on our repertoire of wild stouts we have combined our love of locally foraged fruits with our penchant for sweet dark beers. The combination of fruit and chocolate is always amazing and what better way to combat the cold nights of the changing seasons than with a rich warming stout?

Can at Tønne, Leicester. Black with a loose and quickly dissipating tan head. Lively aroma, lots of raspberry jam, some molasses, some smoke. Sweet initial taste, resplendent with berries, growing bitter toward the finish. Touches of liquorice, more sugar-laden fruit jam, and dark chocolate closer to the finish. Pretty mainstream stuff for Wild Beer. But I love it!

Poured from the tap at Rogue Burrard St. Near black with tan head. Unsweetened raspberry with hint of chocolate and mild roast malt, dry, slightly bitter finish, hidden alcohol. Decent, but a little rough around the edges.
