A big stupid 50/50 split with Citra in a DIPA and take home with us for the Christmas dinner. We’ve gone with BBC Citra on this one for a more ‘oily’ low end to compliment that bright passionfruit and pineapple juice that is Strata and assaulted this fermenter with two additions of both varieties and built this to a 24g/L can’t see through the fog haze of a hop soup. It’s absolutely fantastic.

Can: Poured a bright yellow with a white fast dissipating head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, underlying malts. Taste is hops bitter, really fruit, citrus, grapefruit, lingers around the palate, light acidic too.

Can sourced from Ales and Brews and shared at home (25/02/2021) - hazy golden yellow with a white head. Vibrant fruity with waves of grapefruit, pineapple and passion fruit, sweet fruity and soft malty, smooth pillowy mouthfeel, assertive hoppy finish. Tasty and went down a treat.

Can. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield, I think. Fully opaque, pale yellow gold. Fine white head is lasting and semi lacing. Nose has a bit of sweet white grape. Yellow melon. Citrus peel. Mineral. Taste is super sweet, with a nicely refreshing, bright citrus peel bitterness. Juicy and very easy drinking. Fine carbonation. Fruity bitterness to finish. Another blinder from these folk.
