A big stupid 50/50 split with Citra in a DIPA and take home with us for the Christmas dinner. We’ve gone with BBC Citra on this one for a more ‘oily’ low end to compliment that bright passionfruit and pineapple juice that is Strata and assaulted this fermenter with two additions of both varieties and built this to a 24g/L can’t see through the fog haze of a hop soup. It’s absolutely fantastic.

440ml can from Beer52 as part of their cyberfest. Hazy orange-gold pour, small finger of white head, nice retention. Aroma of orange, passionfruit, mango, resin. Taste is sweet, boozy, citrus and passionfruit, resin, bittersweet and tangy finish. Medium bodied, lighter than some DIPAs, oily to watery over the palate, soft carbonation. Its very good.

9th April 2023
Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and has a good fine minerally crispness. Slightly thin malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Crisp pine into crisp citrus and soft but savoury skunk. Modest Strata passion fruit if you are looking for it. Mild hop spice on the crisp finish. Nothing out the ordinary here but a crisp and drinkable dipa, refreshing to!
