Black with a creamy beige head. Dark chocolate aroma. Pine. A touch fruity. Bittersweet up front, bitterer at end, clean and crisp. Afterwards a surprising sweetness on the tongue full of lingering toffee. Medium bodied. Mild carbonation. Good!

0,33 l bottle. Pours almost black with small, tan, quite quickly dissipating head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, some chocolate, some hop notes - pine and citruses. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Finish is long, roasted malt and coffee fades and spicy, peppery bitterness lingers in the mouth for a while. Not the most balanced black IPA, but I absolutely love it. It's malt driven and it ages very well. Stash a couple of bottles away in the basement and enjoy them in 6 moths time!

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, mostly lasting, fairly lacing, beige head. Roasty, chocolately dark malty and grassy, piney, slightly citrusy, hoppy aroma of moderate intensity, notes of dark chocolate, cofee, green onion, lemon, lemon peel, some mandarine. Taste is citrusy fruity hoppy, bitter hoppy and bitter, roasty dark malty, notes of lemon, lemon peel, some mandarine, dark chocolate, coffee, orange flavoured dark chocolate, a touch of cocoa, very subtle sweetness, cautious citric tartness. Watery-creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, very fine and gentle, efficacious carbonation. Well crafted, but lacks some intensity to reach the top of the charts.
