Sort med beige skum som daler fort. Aroma røsted malt kaffe sjokolade. Smak sjokolade malt kaffe. Syrlig bitter smak...etter ca 30 min i romtemperatur så forsvant syrligheten. Dette øllet passer best lettere temperert, score er ettet temperering. Flaske kjøpt på Vinmonopolet Jekta

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, dark chocolate, burnt malt, leather and a faint hint of caramel, coffee and ash. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long slightly dry, burnt, dark chocolate and licorice root finish. Body is full, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft. Not bad but a bit too burnt for my preference.

50 cl bottle. Almost black color, coffee foam. Aroma: good, burnt, wine, caramel, sweetish, bread crust, slightly coffee, rich. Burnt taste, caramel, wine, chocolate and coffee, bitter, rich, good.

0,5 flaske fra apoteket på Kvaddå, delt med Kitty etter hjemkomst fra 3H: nesten helt svart med fint skum som varer. Franskbrent espresso, 70%-sjokolader, hint av lær, tobakk og engelsk lakris. Tørr avslutning. Velkomponert, elegant, og eminent nytbar samtidig som den smører sjelen. Burde vært på blå resept.

Bottle from Deconinck. Cloudy black, thin, beige head. Aroma of coffee roast, dark chocolate, prune, toast, chestnut, pink grapefruit, tobacco, black pepper. Taste has sweetish prune, fig, chocolatey maltiness with a nutty edge; bitter middle provides coffee, chocolate powder, earth & oat. Toasty, finish, herbal hops but expressive espresso & tobacco are dominant. Very soft alcohol glow. Medium to full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Good (old-fashioned almost nowadays) roasted Stout.

Bottle, at Både&. A gorgeous looking black beer with a nice dark tan head. Some curtains. The aroma has lots of roasted malts, licorice and mocha. A good dash of oatmeal biscuits too. It's full bodied, faintly warming and softly carbonated, with a decent sweetness. Roasted malts, coffee, oatmeal and some licorice. Malty kind of bitterness. Lasting finish. A bit sharp in the edges, else a delicious beer indeed. 201001

Bottle @ Bakgården. Pitch black body under a fine, lacing beige head. Aroma has sweetish malt, coffee, chocolate and caramel. Strong and very sweet taste, dark malt, chocolate, coffee and god bitterness. Fine body and long-lasting aftertaste. Nice as a dessert beer or just an evening sipper. Feels a bit like a sweeter version of the regular Imperial Stout.

Bakgården Både & 040920. Black color with a brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee, sugar, licorice, yeast, oat. Very mice beer.
