Tap at Hopa. Murky purple pour, pinkish head. Nose is intense chocolate, some coffee and blueberry. Taste is chocolate and coffee, with some vague jammy, tart blueberries on the palate. The finish is weirdly dry. The body is light on this and the carbonation is moderate. The fruityness could’ve been more prominent and it’s just quite messy altogether. Expected more tbh.

Can from the lcbo. Quite the color.... Deep, cloudy purple with a small pink head. Aroma is tart blueberries and rich, roasty coffee, with a hint of bitter cocoa. Mouth feel is full, carb is soft. Finish is tart, medium tart, roasty coffee, semi sweet, tart blueberry. Odd, but not bad at all.

Canned (Alko Web). Very deep purple colour, with slightly violet head. Aroma has a bunch of coffee with some berries and vanilla with some wooden tones. Flavour is coffee, some blueberries, mild dry wooden tones, dark chocolate and some roast. Lovely aroma, but flavour doesn't quite make it to the same level.

Can. Freebie courtesy of CW. Cheers! Deep dark red. Moderate haze. No head. Nose has coffee and vanilla. Blueberry jam. Lots of lactic sourness. Taste is dry and lightly bitter. Tart and sharp on the palate. Foamy carbonation. Tart fruit finish. Can’t see the point.

ABV: 5.5%. Medium to dark red - purple colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, pink head. Aroma is moderate to heavy coffee, custard, moderate berries, blueberries, vanilla. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, tart, blueberry, light vanilla - cream - custard. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy - smooth, carbonation is soft. --Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Aroma of custard, coffee and blueberry soup. Sweet and sour with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Who thought it was a good idea to mix blueberry soup with lemon juice, coffee with too much sugar and custard? Think they may have forgotten the bacon and marshmallows?

16 ounce can. Hazy purple pour with a quickly dissipating pinkish head. Sweet fruity nose has notes of chocolate and berries. First sip is quite tart. Mostly, sour blueberries with a hint of coffee and vanilla. Sticky mouthfeel. Mildly carbonated.
