Stillwater Artisanal, check. Blueberry, Chocolate, Coffee and Vanilla, check. You're damn right we're unleashing this flavour bomb with one of the most creative forces in the beer industry. Blueberry is sweet and tart and heightened to new levels with the bright acidity and roasty chocolate notes emphasized by Detour coffee and Cocoa.

WHY DOES EVERY BEER THESE DAYS NEED VANILLA?! What is this, an ice cream shop? Vanilla is super overpowering. Nein. Maybe it’s old? Pic: top 3 Kurosawa.

Deep purple with a decent pink head. Chocolate, coffee and berry notes. Much like the nose. Not bad, but so much going on that it is a bit pointless.

Coffee, cocoa nose. Hazy purple, headless. Tart blueberry and coffee. Light body, easy carbonation. Too weird and not for me.

473mL can, pours a deep dark red / burgundy with a small pink head. Aroma brings out the coffee upfront, along with cocoa, vanilla, jammy blueberry and lactose. Flavour somehow blends all the adjuncts well together and expresses each element: you can easily get the coffee and vanilla, then the jammy berries kick in, along with the chocolate, and of course a pronounced tartness. Coffee and cocoa, with a decent jammy tartness on the finish. Surprisingly great—amazing how you can get all the different adjuncts.

Can. Dark magenta/pomegranate juice colour. The aroma is like a light roast Ethiopian (I mean, blueberries, come on) and cascara, with earthy chocolate and a touch of vanilla. Blueberry Coffee Crisp beer. It's fairly tart, and all those flavour elements are still there. It's a bit thin, I would say, to carry all these notes. It's a mess, but that's obviously the point, and it works in that context.

Second blueberry weird beer of the night (other being Omnipollo Bianca). Slightly hazy, darker red colour with a fizzy purple-pink head that disappears rather quickly, leaving only a small bubble ring. The blueberry and coffee comes out really nicely in the aromas with hints of chocolate. The sour fruity touch is there. The sourness comes out more in the flavours, but it does cut short in the finish. Light tartiness. The blueberries are present, some mild coffee and the coffee and vanilla are really mixed in there. Another interesting full-tasting sour.
