Can. Golden beer with an off-white head. Light citrus and malt aroma with hay. Hay and malt flavor with light grass. Medium bodied. Malt and light grain linger with hay and light grass.

Super clear golden coloured body with a large, four to five centimetre tall pure white head that fades fairly slowly and when it does, leaves a pretty ugly lace on the sides of the glass, but a smooth layer on top. Aroma of crisp grain and metal with a herbal and floral bite, but some smoother scents with some caster sugar, yeast and light honey note, relatively smooth, but definitely the smell of a helles lager. Light-bodied; Fresh grassy and very earthy malted barley flavour with some herbal and perfumey hop qualities and a dash of flowers near the end, all with a slightly soapy finish that has a lot of sweetness throughout from honey and caster sugars. Aftertaste shows some dry and herbal elements, but a smooth malty profile and a kick of the metallic and slightly astringent notes that give a slight bitterness at the end. Overall, a light, herbal, grassy and very malty beer with some light hops and an underlying sweetness that seems strongest. Nice enough, but not a great beer nor one worth searching out for, but nice to sample here stateside and as part of the calendar! I sampled this 50 cL can, from Day #8 of the Costco 2020 Advent Calendar, purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia sampled at my house here in Washington on 08-December-2020.

Beer 8 from the CostCo Advent box. Pours clear, bright gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is bready with grassy notes. Near med body. Flavor is bready with grassy notes, and a mild touch of spice in the finish. Seems Saaz hops. Could us a little more, but it's a decent drink.

Nice crisp aroma. Clean malt and a touch of noble hops. Pours golden with frothy initial head. Some lingering lacing. Crisp snappy end. Respectable for style and easy drinking. Can from day 8 of advent calendar.

Half liter can, 12/8/20, #8 from the Costco advent calendar. Clear pale gold, large creamy off-white head, good retention. Looks nice. Aroma of white bread, floral and mildly lemony hops. Taste is cider apple, white grape, bready malt. Medium bodied not crisp. Okay, could be better. Sad I'm already 1/3 of the way through this.

500 ml can purchased as part of the 2020 Costco Advent Calendar at the Costco in Overland Park, Kansas. Exp 05/2022 printed on the bottom of the can. The pour is golden yellow with a 1 one foamy white head that falls noisily. The aroma is bready, toast, grain malt. Some floral and a hint of honey as it warms. The taste is softly sweet malt, the toasted bread and floral softly herbal. The palate is light bodied, active carbonation and the drying floral herbal finish. Solid Helles.
