# 4728; 9/2025. Malty aroma, light herbal. Brilliant golden body; white head. Malty, light caramel and herbal. Medium body; medium carbonation. More close to other types of pale lagers than pilsener. 0,5 l, bottle, local pension, Gutenstein (Lower Austria).

Light, golden colour with a small, white head. Aroma is a mixture of sweet malts and grassy hops. Taste is nearly the same, but with more bitter hops and a dry bitterness in the end. Nothing special with a light metallic note; sometimes it seems to be a bit too watery.

500 ml bottle from a supermarket.
Light golden, crystal clear body, with a big, unstable, frothy, white head.
Aroma of grains, hay, corn, sweet malts.
Tastes of bitter herbs, grains, grass, corn, sweet malts, metallic notes.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes bitter, herbal, hoppy, metallic, grainy.
Typical, boring Pils, you can find everywhere in Austria. My least favourite beer from this brewery so far.

Das Pils geht ganz gut. Es ist fein gehopft und im richtigen Maß bitter. Für den Pilsbier-Freak mag es zu langweilig wirken, aber es lässt sich sehr angenehm trinken.

Tap at 5. Wiener Bierfest. Aroma yeasty and metallic. Clear yellow colour. Taste is plain, watery, metallic, really not worth attention.

Keg at Cardinals Hat, Worcester. Gold, thin white head. OK aroma, decent pils. No lager puke, easy drinking, no wet dog or cardboard. Pretty good, ok subtle hop on finish.

Keg at the Cardinals Hat, Worcester 03-03-07. This was a bonus beer for me as having drunk my Dunkel much quicker than Loz or my mum I was handed both of theirs tofinish. Light golden in colour, having a standard Pilsnery type bitterness, I agreed with Loz it just tasted a touch too fizzy for my liking and lacked character.
