Bottle shared in London - cheers! Pours clear amber-gold with a creamy topping. The nose has sugary bread, some caramel, ripe fruits. Medium sweet flavour with more sugary bread, cereal, biscuits, light caramel, faint citrus. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly gooey in the finish, more sugary bread, cereal. Tasty, if simple.

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Clear, bright, copper colour. Thin, foamy, pale cream head. Nose has spicy biscuit malts. Earthy hop. Damp grain. Hazelnut. Some fruit, along the line of figs or dates. Further notes of sourdough bread. Taste is nutty sweet. Some fruity tang. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium body. Gets sweeter as it goes along. Touch of fruity sourness on the finish. Tasty.

Rating from 2005. Röstmalzig-mildes Bier. Karamell, nicht zu malzig-süß. Milde Herbe, die sich gut einfügt. Toll. --> 13
