0.33 l bottle thanks to Marko, shared with Ogi and him. Hazy darker ruby red to brown, minimal head. Aroma is red fruit, red grapes, vinous, harsh phenols underneath. Earthy, grape skins, herbal, spicy phenols, cardboard. Warming. Dry finish.

0.33l bottle, maybe from the Bierkiste, maybe from Jonas or Stefan. Hazy purple body, off-white head. Red wine aroma, light alcohol, nice dry red really. Lean, dry, overly lean dry minerally red wine, but quite drinkable for 9.5%. Seems to have lost some appeal with age, but I'm fairly sure this would intrigue some wine lovers.

Bottle. Hazy bright red, low pink foam. Grape skin, minerals, red must, light bubblegum aroma. Fairly dry, leathery, clay/minerals, tannins, grape pith. Not sour though, simply pleasant dry flavours. Sparkling red wine fruitiness in the finish, Bretty notes retronasal. Fascinating.

Bottle. Opaque red color with pinkish head. Aroma is nice juicy red grapes, some leather and earth. Taste is grape skins, leather and earth, some funk, really tasty. Thick mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Very good!

Bottle bought at Hogs Back Brewery shop of all places. Aroma is vinous, funky, with sweet grape juice. Hazy purple. Pretty much no head. A few translucent bubbles. Dry vinous sourness. Underlying jammy hints. Spice. Earthy. Light. Thin but sticky. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Decent. Interesting. Just doesn't blow me away.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierothek', bottled in November 2020. Slightly hazy, deep ruby with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, gently funky and rather vinous aroma of red wine, blackcurrant, black pepper, oak and a touch of leather. Slightly sweet, moderately sour, fairly vinous, woody, rather spicy and gently funky taste of red wine, oak, black pepper, blackcurrant and leather, followed by a medium long, rather vinous, quite spicy, gently funky, very woody-dry finish. Medium body, minimally astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite complex, astonishingly rather quaffable, interestingly very spicy as well. Good!

12-12-20 // 330ml bottle shared. The new vintage is here. Different grape varieties. Again lovely wineous notes. Redwine influences. Dry red wine, grapes, balanced sourness, lower acidity.
