Bottle picked up from Appel Getränke, Au im der Hallertau and consumed at home Sunday 13th June 2021 . About to cook homemade Pizza in the wood oven. Pours hazy amber colour with a white head. Much like my last beer banana and toffee come to the fore, however this has a lot more going for it than that did. Nice carbonation, a touch sweet perhaps, caramel, overripe banana, not much strawberry action.

0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeer-Shop.com', best before December 2021. Very hazy, deep orangeish amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish-malty, fairly yeasty-spicy, slightly fruity aroma of lots of banana, clove, nutmeg, vanilla, pear and honey. Quite sweet, malty, fairly yeasty-spicy, slightly fruity taste of banana, clove, honey, pear and some nutmeg, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy, a little boozy finish. Medium to full body, smooth, slightly creamy and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Tasty, classic Weizenbock, ticks all the boxes.

33cl. Smooth mild. Fruity with lots of floral and clove parts. Grainy, hints of melon and parts of strawberry in the back. Nice fruity, sessionable with a moderate bitter Weizen finish. Great!
Not near their best beer. It’s a bit sharp and slightly astringent. Lacking drinkability, pokey flavours. Poor mix of ingredients. D&S Dresden

Hazy dark amber colour, white foam. Nose of banana, wheat, some citrus, vanilla, honey. Rather sweet but balanced.

Bottle. Cloudy amber, low white cream. Minerally, dusty, light oxidized banana and clove. Sticky, sugary fruit sirup, cloying berry and banana, medium full clingy body, Sticky finish. Not that well balanced.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is phenolic, bananas, cloves, a bit too much. Taste is almost cloying, banana and spices, sweet finish. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. A bit too much.
