Bottle. Unclear amber color with eggshell head. Aroma is piney, caramel. Taste is bready, peach, earthy, buttery and bitter. Oily-fatty mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Not amazing...

Super flavourful, a lot of barleywine-like dried fruit going in. Great body, smooth and almost perfectly clean. For the abv it is top notch, can’t expect more with this volume of ingredients. D&S Dresden

Bottle picked up from Appel Getränkemarkt, Au in der Hallertau and consumed at home Tuesday 9th March 2021 *breaking my own rule of not drinking on a Tuesday (works been hectic for Loz). Spaghetti Bolognese for tea and 6Music on the radio, Steve Lamaq. I have to say without looking at this page I really would have been floundering when it came to describing the style. How's now I am supping it, this seems to tick the boxes, malty, sweet with a soft moutheel. A little citrus edge but it's more about caramel and toffee. It's quite a pleasant beer.
