Bottiglia. Arco olfattivo dominato dal fruttato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine, con carbonazione abbondante. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è contenuto e c'è anche una componente moderatamente acidula. La forza gustativa è elevata e permane in maniera è sufficiente. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di zucchero caramellato, miele, crosta di pane, agrumi, frutta passita, vino rosso, acetico e vaniglia.

Riserva 2015: 0,75 flaske delt på (alltid like) hyggelig RBHD-treff hos Odd Gunnar mars-18: lett uklar kobbergylden med fint skum som varer. Sursyrlig aroma og smak med sure krisebær, rognebær, rips og nyper. Pussig nok får jeg en fornemmelse av dessertsjokolader i avlsutningen, og ettersom vitamininnhldet er forbilledlig tilbaketrukket tror jeg kan denne ha trusefjernerpotensiale. Ingen Belgian strong ale, dette er heller en flamsk bruin.

Shared bottle at RB/HD at Gunnar´s 08.03.19. Cloudy copper amber. Beige head and lacing. Aroma and taste of oude bruin and sour malt. Also a hint of sour cherries. Quite good. Alcohol is not evident. A proper babetricker.

Shared 750 ml bottle, vintage 2015, from Vinmonopolet; Nettbutikken. ABV 9.0%. Hazy reddish brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of brettanomyces, lemons, red wine vinegar and spices. Sour and spicy flavour with the same elements, good beer.

KØLF 120118. Red brown color with a beige head. Aroma and flavor is sourness, alcohol, sugar, wine, wood, dried fruits, berries, spices, grapes. Very nice beer.

Bottle. Unclear amber body with a big, beige head. Pleasant aroma with quite much fruit/berries, malt, pepper, spices and some dry fruit. Aroma seems to be quite complex without screaming out what to expect from this. Flavor has some sweet elements like malt, dry fruit and grapes, but also acidic berries and grapes (both sweet and acidic), spices, licorices and warming alcohol. Full bodied all all over rather balanced even with some unusually flavors. Takes a few sips to know it, but I really like this one, full of surprices and well made.

Flaske 750ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø Langnes. Delt med flere under juleølsmaking på Gleipne 17 Nov 17. Mørk amber. Off-white filmskum. Litt uklar. Syrlig fruktaroma. Smaken som aromaen. Surøl uten julepreg.

750ml bottle, vintage 2015, shared with Egil Børge, Leif, Odd and Finn. Gusher! Noisy, bubbly, off-white head, fragile lacing, muddy red-brownish body. Aroma of apricot and yeast. Flavoured with yeasty fruitiness, apricot, some spices and a backdrop of brett. Tart and sweet fruity ending. Okay without further excitements. (Tasting session of Christmas beers, Tromsø 17.11.2017).

Bottle at home. The color is slightly hazy brown with a small beige head. Aroma of vinegar, oak, leather, heather, spices, dried fruit and basement. The flavor is similar with more oak, wild berries and some alcohol. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness. A nice, fruity and sour ale.
